Ingrid van Maurik, The Netherlands



With a background in Health and Life Sciences (BSc) and Neuropsychology (MSc), Ingrid van Maurik started in 2015 as a PhD on the Alzheimer’s Disease Biomarkers in Daily Practice (ABIDE) project. ABIDE has been designed to improve and facilitate the use and interpretation of AD biomarkers in clinical practice, taking into account patients’ preferences towards diagnostic testing and communication of test results. Within this project, Ingrid focusses on statistical modelling and the implementation of prognostic models into daily practice. For this project, Ingrid is involved in both the Alzheimer Center Amsterdam and the Decision Modelling Center.
